A little BAGEL RUN history...
Back in 1993...we got together and thought...if only Ottawa had a place where you could buy Montreal Style Bagels...I mean the thought of not having to drive 4 hours back and forth to Montreal for a dozen freshly made hot out of the wood burning oven bagels right here in your own backyard made perfect sense...so we got to work and developed a business plan, built our first store, hired staff and voila...we opened our first location right next to Farm Boy on Centrum Blvd.
Not only does the wood make it good...but at The Bagel Run "Our Montreal-style bagels are hand-rolled and baked fresh daily, right before your eyes...and in our wood-burning oven. Our bagel recipes contain no additives or preservatives and are trans-fat free. Only the finest and freshest ingredients are used. We have two locations now too...our first original location at 240 Centrum Blvd and our newest location up the hill in Orleans at 2026 Tenth Line...

At THE BAGEL RUN...our bagels come in a variety of flavours and our services do too...You can walk in and order up fresh hot bagels to go...or you can stay and get a sandwich, soup, fresh baked goods and deliciously smooth cream cheeses. So relax...take a load off and have a fresh bagel and a hot coffee right on site...
We love events too and you can call ahead for a special order...be it for that family get together, the brunch, the weekend at the cottage or we can help you plan for those bigger special events you have with friends and family...
